摘要 This air conditioning apparatus is provided with a compressor, a four-way valve, an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger, and pipes connecting therebetween. The indoor heat exchanger and/or the outdoor heat exchanger is divided into a plurality of refrigerant passage sections. Each of the plurality of refrigerant passage sections of the indoor heat exchanger and/or the outdoor heat exchanger can be switched so as to be connected to another refrigerant passage section in series or in parallel when a refrigerant control valve, which opens or closes the refrigerant flow path, is operated. A temperature detector is installed at the refrigerant outlet of each refrigerant passage section. The operation of the refrigerant control valve is controlled on the basis of data on the temperature obtained by the temperature detector. Additionally, in the present invention, each of the plurality of refrigerant passage sections of the indoor heat exchanger and/or the outdoor heat exchanger may be configured such that the refrigerant flow can be blocked when the refrigerant control valve, which opens or closes the refrigerant flow path, is operated. The above configuration allows the air conditioning apparatus to be operated such that the appropriate flow volume of the refrigerant is maintained in accordance with the actual operation state and the coefficient of performance (COP) is made continuously high. In addition, since the heat exchangers are divided, a redundant and reliable air conditioning apparatus can be provided.
