A propeller fan 1 that is provided with a hub 1a and with a blades 2 that are fixed to the hub 1a. The blades 2 are shaped such that one section of a front edge 21 thereof protrudes toward a pressure surface 2a side and/or such that one section of a rear edge 22 thereof protrudes toward a suction surface 2b side. The radial-direction center 28 of said protrusion(s) is positioned further to the outside in the radial direction than the radial-direction position of half of the blade radius Rt from a rotational center line RC. The present invention can achieve a blowing air speed distribution that is more uniform across the radial direction of the blades 2 and can promote noise reduction.
