The present invention relates a computer implemented system and method of synchronising multimedia content of a document file across a plurality of processing devices, the document file comprising text and/or image content, and the method comprising steps of: allowing the content of the document file to be viewed on display means of a first processing device; downloading the document file on one of more second processing devices for viewing of content thereof on display means of the second processing devices; allowing the content of the document file to be edited or modified at the first processing device, synchronising the view of the content of the document file such that edits or modifications to the content of the document file performed at the first processing device appear in near real time automatically to the view of the content of the document file at the or each second processing device. The invention provides a plurality of saving options enabling saving of the document file with the edited or modified content to the first processing device and the second processing device(s).
