PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic and topical composition containing an effective amount of a photosynthetic cell extract comprising a functional thylakoid system and having an anti-wrinkle and an anti-aging effect on a user's skin.SOLUTION: The above subject is solved by a topical and cosmetic composition for the improvement of a skin aesthetic appearance selected from the group consisting of decreasing the number and depth of wrinkles in the skin, increasing elasticity of the skin, increasing hydration of the skin, and combinations thereof.
