PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which allows for appropriate recovery of compressed image data subjected to variable length code processing.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes an analysis section 120 for specifying the data part of compressed image data, corresponding to each pixel region of an image generated by decompressing the compressed image data, by analyzing the compressed image data subjected to variable length code processing, and an image processing section 120 for acquiring data indicating a predetermined pixel region of an image, specifying the data part of compressed image data, corresponding to a predetermined pixel region, based on the analysis results by the analysis section, and adding predetermined data at the position of the data part of the specified compressed image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
