PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for efficiently producing a triple-layer gum.SOLUTION: An apparatus for producing a triple-layer gum comprises an external nozzle 14 and an internal nozzle 15. The external nozzle 14 has an outer layer mouth 17 which is provided at a distal end in an output direction, and which demarcates an outer layer internal space 16 of flattened rectangular shape having a prescribed length in the output direction, being relatively wide in a width direction orthogonal to the output direction, and being relatively thin in a thickness direction. The internal nozzle 15 has an inner layer mouth 20 which demarcates an inner layer internal space 19 of flattened cuboid shape having a prescribed length in an output direction, having a dimension in a width direction orthogonal to the output direction equal to that of the outer layer internal space 16, and having a dimension in a thickness direction substantially equal to one-third that of the outer layer internal space 16. The inner layer mouth 20 is arranged in a central portion of the outer layer mouth 17 in a vertical direction, in such a way that within the outer layer internal space 16 demarcated by the outer layer mouth 17, the internal space is divided into an outer layer upper internal space 16U and an outer layer lower internal space 16D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
