PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying tumor characteristics, tumor classification, and a marker set of cancer.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method comprising obtaining three different marker sets which predicts characteristics of interest respectively; obtaining a specimen gene expression signal from tumor cells; enabling evaluation of the gene expression signal of interest in the tumor by adding a reporter and affecting the change of the specimen; combining the gene expression signal with the reporter; correlating the extracted gene expression signal with the three different marker sets; ranking the correlations of all three predicted gene expression signal sets among three of a malignant tumor, benign tumor, and middle tumor; assigning a value to the extracted gene expression signal; and outputting the value.SELECTED DRAWING: None
