PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic visualization unit which allows a user to directly confirm an ultrasonic incident position to a surface of an object to be measured.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic visualization unit is used for an ultrasonic flaw detection inspection of transmitting an ultrasonic wave from a probe to an object to be measured immersed in an ultrasonic transmitting medium and receiving the echo to inspect a nonmetallic inclusion amount existing in the object to be measured, and is attached to the surface of the object to be measured. The ultrasonic visualization unit comprises a conversion member for converting vibration of the ultrasonic wave to thermal energy and a display member which changes color in reaction to the thermal energy generated by the conversion member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
