PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an opening/closing operation of a lid member without protruding from an appearance face in a state having the lid member openably/closably covering a slot section opened and in a state having the lid member closed, and to facilitate taking-out of a card type recording medium.SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a lid member 200 that openably/closably covers a slot section 211a, is arranged substantially vertically to with respect to a card type recording medium 210a to be loaded into the slot section 211a in a closed state, and is arranged at a position where the lid member does not protrude in a discharge direction of the card type recording medium 210a from a plane section 242 of an appearance face of a device main body in a closed state and an opened state. The lid member 200 has an extension section 204 that protrudes toward an insertion direction of the card type recording medium 210a into the slot section 211a from an end part of a discharge side of the card type recording medium 210a in the closed state on a side proximate to the card type recording medium 210a upon moving from the closed state to an opening direction, and the extension section 204 protrudes in the discharge direction of the card type recording medium 210a from the plane section 242 so as to not hit the card type recording medium 210a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
