PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rotor disc or a stator disc in which optimization of overlapping of blades and improvement of compressibility and a suction capacity along with this optimization can be attained, and to provide a rotor disc or a stator disc showing a quite superior suction capacity and quite superior compressibility.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method of manufacturing a rotor disc or a stator disc for a vacuum pump and this method is realized by a method of manufacturing the rotor disc or the stator disc by a blank of a solid material through sawing of several channels formed while being inclined in respect to a disc surface, in which at least one disc surface of a blank 11 is formed by being bent in a radial symmetrical manner before sawing of the channels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1b |
