PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable styrene resin particle that is a foamable styrene resin particle used for extrusion foaming and can produce an extruded foamed board having a desired expansion ratio even when the amount of a volatile component in the foamable resin particle decreases with the lapse of days.SOLUTION: The foamable styrene resin particle for extrusion foaming comprises a plurality of foamable styrene resin particles having different amounts of volatile components and having a weight average molecular weight difference of 20,000 or less. The foamable styrene resin particle includes at least a foamable styrene resin particle A having an amount of volatile component of not less than 5 wt% to not more than 8 wt% and a foamable styrene resin particle B having an amount of volatile component of not less than 2 wt% to less than 5 wt%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
