PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal centrifugal thin-film evaporator having no restriction for application by enabling a revolving shaft having an impeller attached thereto to be cleaned easily in the removed state.SOLUTION: A revolving shaft 2 having an impeller 3 attached thereto is supported in a cantilever state on one end plate member 5 attachable to/detachable from a tank body 1 via a bearing 51 and a shaft seal part 52, and one end plate member 5 is disposed via a support guide member 8, movably forward/backward with respect to the tank body 1 in the axial direction of the revolving shaft 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
