Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a hidden hotspot access method and device, the method comprising: receiving first current information transmitted by a terminal device, the first current information comprising an access point query request and the current position information of the terminal device; according to the first current information and at least one second current information, determining an access point (AP) available for the terminal device, the second current information comprising the current position information and a hidden service set identifier (SSID) of the AP; and transmitting to the terminal device the information of the AP available for the terminal device, the available AP information comprising the hidden SSID of the AP. The embodiment of the present invention solves a problem of a low WLAN access efficiency of a terminal. |
