Disclosed are a method for processing panorama video data and a device thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for processing panorama video data comprises the following steps of: enabling a source device to receive EDID including information related to display capability from a sync device; enabling the source device to generate a video frame for panorama video data when first information is included the received EDID wherein the first information shows that the sync device can process the panorama video data; and enabling the source device to transmit the generated video frame to the sync device. |
