PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress energy consumption of a vehicle having a function of adjusting the air pressure of a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: A travel device 1 includes: a pneumatic tire fitted to a vehicle 100; an air pressure adjustment device which adjusts the air pressure of the pneumatic tire; and an air pressure controller 20 which makes the air pressure of the pneumatic tire higher than standard air pressure when the vehicle 100 travels below a predetermined traveling speed. Further, the travel device 1 is associated with a travel controller which allows a travel while keeping a vehicular gap constant with a preceding vehicle, and the air pressure controller 20 puts the air pressure of the pneumatic tire back to the standard air pressure when the vehicular gap reaches a predetermined value or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
