PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug release gel composition for injection that is a long-lasting drug carrier composition, and to provide a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a gel composition 100 comprising: a plurality of chitosan spheres 110, each of which is a sphere of self-assembling of chitosan; an alkaline chitosan stabilizer 120 by which the chitosan sphere 110 connects to form the gel body 102; a chitosan degrading enzyme 130 dispersing into the gel body 102; and a drug dispersing into the gel body 102; wherein the chitosan degrading enzyme 130 degrades the gel composition 100 at a temperature of 20-40°C. The drugs are insulin, an insulin sensitivity improving agent, sulfonyl urine, or combinations thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
