PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable automatic restoration at first supply of power after being shipped without normally terminated in a manufacturing process, and enable automatic restoration to the state prior to a power outage at recovery from a power outage.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises: a processing unit, supplied with a first power source, for performing prescribed information processing and outputting a timer reset signal at prescribed time intervals when normally operating; a power control unit, supplied with a second power source, for controlling the supply of the first power source; a power source unit for supplying the second power source and supplying the first power source under control by the power control unit; a push switch for operating the indication of supplying the first power source; and a timer unit, supplied with a third power source independently of the first and second power sources, for outputting an automatic restoration disable signal when a prescribed time has elapsed after being reset by a timer reset signal. When the supply of the second power source is resumed and when the processing unit was previously terminated in error and the automatic restoration disable signal is outputted from the timer unit, the power control unit stops the supply of the first power source and keeps it stopped until the power source is turned on via the push switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
