PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeater that can reduce the wrong pull-out of communication cable by displaying whether information communication is being performed and can use general-purpose communication cable.SOLUTION: A repeater comprises a plurality of input side connectors 2 and a plurality of output side connectors 3 corresponding to the respective input side connectors 2, and connects a communication cable 4 connected with each input side connector 2 and a communication cable 4 connected with corresponding output side connector 3. The repeater comprises, between each input side connector 2 and the corresponding output side connector 3, a detection display circuit 9 including: a detection circuit 7 that has part of a signal transmitted between the connectors 2 and 3 branch off, takes it out, and outputs it; and a display circuit 8 that displays whether information communication is being performed on the basis of the output from the detection circuit 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
