PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proof device with a new structure in which a main body rubber elastic member is rigidly fixed to the second fixing member without any adhering at all.SOLUTION: Extended end surfaces of a pair of legs 32a, 32b of a main body rubber elastic member 14 extending to protrude out of the first fixing member 12 are overlapped on a base metal fitting 50 constituting the second fixing member 18, a salient 54 of the base metal fitting 50 is inserted between the pair of legs 32a, 32b and overlapped on each of the opposing surfaces 38. In turn, the extended end part of each of the legs 32 is formed with a part 42 to be held that expands on the base metal fitting 50. A holding metal fitting 52 constituting the second fixing member 18 under cooperation with the base metal fitting 50 is overlapped on the base metal fitting 50 and fixed in caulking, then the part 42 to be held is held between the base metal fitting 50 and the holding metal fitting 52 over its entire length in a peripheral direction of each of the legs 32 and at the same time an outer peripheral surface of the extended end part of each of the legs 32 provided with the part 42 to be held is overlapped on the second fixing member 18 over its entire periphery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
