摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber laser device capable of preventing deterioration of working characteristics by monitoring the reflected light accurately.SOLUTION: A fiber laser device includes: an optical fiber F functioning as an amplification medium; an optical fiber F1 functioning as a transmission medium for transmitting the light outputted from the optical fiber F; an optical power monitor device 12 having a photodetector 26a arranged closer to the output side of output light than the fusion junction point P of the optical fibers F, F1, and detecting the output light leaked at the fusion junction point P, and a photodetector 26b arranged closer to the input side of output light than the fusion junction point P, and detecting the reflection light leaked at the fusion junction point P; and an operation unit 31 performing calculation for eliminating the influence of output light from the detection results of the photodetector 26b, by using the relation of detection results from the photodetector 26a, 26b obtained previously from the optical power monitor device 12 in a situation where the reflection light is not generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
