PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air regulator with which it is possible to begin pressure adjustment from a state in which a secondary pressure equals the atmospheric pressure and to send a large amount of flow.SOLUTION: Provided is an air regulator having: a main valve 15 for opening/closing a passage between a primary pressure introduction port and a secondary pressure take-out port; a secondary pressure chamber 17 communicating with the secondary pressure take-out port; a back pressure chamber 28 communicating with the primary pressure introduction port and a secondary pressure take-out chamber; a floating piston 20 for moving up/down by a pressure difference between the secondary pressure chamber and the back pressure chamber and opening/closing the main valve, and disposed coaxially with the main valve; a control chamber communicating with the secondary pressure take-out port; a measuring capsule 31 located in the control chamber, expanding/contracting in accordance with the pressure in the control chamber, and located coaxially with the main valve and the floating piston; a pressure adjustment mechanism for moving the measuring capsule up/down; and a variable bleed valve 40 disposed coaxially between the measuring capsule and the floating piston, and changing the communication area between the back pressure chamber and the outside air in accordance with the expansion/contraction amount and pressure adjustment up/down movement amount of the measuring capsule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
