The invention relates to a method for the pressure-filling of containers (40) with a liquid filling material in a filling device having at least one filling element (10), against which the particular container (40) lies tightly by means of the container opening of the container at least during part of the filling process and by means of which at least one process pressure is applied to the interior of the container during the filling process in at least one process step. At least one pressure sensor (46) is provided on each filling element (10). During the filling process, the at least one pressure sensor senses the pressure in the interior of the container (40) connected to the filling element (10) and provides an electrical signal corresponding to said pressure to an evaluating device (48), which records the pressure progression over time in the interior of the container during the filling process. According to the invention, the filling element is controlled in dependence with an output signal of the evaluating device, wherein the evaluating device monitors the pressure progression for the occurrence of a pressure peak (64) and outputs a closing signal for the filling element when the pressure peak is detected. |
