A vehicle brake system (1) comprises: a stroke sensor (41) that detects the stroke of a brake pedal (3); a slave cylinder (30) that generates a brake hydraulic pressure as a result of being driven by a motor actuator (31); and a control device (90) that drives the motor actuator (31) on the basis of the detected value of the stroke sensor (41). The control device (90) is provided with: a base requirement deceleration map (92M); a suction-grip-feeling requirement deceleration map (93M); and a phase delay filter (93F) that performs phase delay processing on a suction-grip-feeling requirement deceleration GL. The control device (90) subjects the motor actuator (31) to driving control on the basis of a base requirement deceleration GB and a suction-grip-feeling requirement deceleration GLF obtained by performing the phase delay processing. The invention can provide the vehicle brake system (1) that gives excellent brake feel to a driver. |
