A forced-ventilation device which performs forced ventilation in the passenger compartment (14) of a vehicle (10) by actuating an air blower (18a) of an air-conditioning device (18) for the vehicle (10) under circumstances where the passenger compartment (14) of the vehicle (10) is left at high temperatures, wherein a control unit (111c) has a preset mode for forced ventilation by a user. When a portable device (112) approaches the vehicle (10) together with the user and enters a predetermined detection area where the portable device (112) can be detected by a response signal, and matching of the response signal is successful, the control unit (111c) turns on an ignition switch (12) of the vehicle (10) and opens windows (16, 16a, 16b) with an opening/closing mechanism (17) and gives instructions to the air-conditioning device (18) to actuate the air blower (18a). Thus, it is possible to obviate operations by the user and also to ensure security. |
