PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for receiving and storing hen eggs loaded on trays, that reduce a space of an egg storage house for receiving hen eggs delivered on a carriage from a production farm together with information and storing them under refrigeration, and that eliminate a transportation forklift for carry-in/out stored hen eggs necessary for broken eggs.SOLUTION: Hen eggs produced at a production farm are delivered by using a farm carriage on which egg trays are superposed in six levels. Information on the production farm, egg collection dates, etc. are managed from the carriage using a rack-out in a state that the egg trays are superposed on each other, and then the egg trays are loaded on a tray of about 1 m square developed for an automatic rack, in order to be stored by the automatic rack under refrigeration, and thereby a space of an egg storage house is cut down to 50% of a conventional one, and further a transportation forklift can be eliminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
