PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupling member capable of precisely maintaining a positional relationship between a lens held by a holding member and an optical fiber, which requires no complicated work.SOLUTION: The optical coupling member includes: a holder which has a storage part 11c for storing a ball lens 12, which is formed on one end thereof, and on the other end thereof, an insertion hole 11a formed into which an optical fiber 13 is inserted; and a magnet 14 which is disposed at the outer side in a direction crossing a storage direction of the ball lens 12 at one end of the holder. The magnet generates an attraction force for aligning the center of the ball lens 12 to the center of an optical element as an object to be coupled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
