PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator reducing oxygen in a storage container by a polyelectrolyte film method, which is excellent in usability because the arrangement of the storage container is hardly restricted.SOLUTION: A refrigerator is provided with: an oxygen-reduced chamber 100 which is set inside a cabinet 11; an oxygen-reducing device 106 which has a polyelectrolyte film put between a pair of electrodes and is placed apart from the oxygen-reduced chamber 100; and ducts 101, 103 through which the oxygen-reduced chamber 100 and the oxygen-reducing device 106 are connected. The oxygen-reducing device 106 generates water from hydrogen ion generated by subjecting water to electrolysis, and oxygen supplied in the oxygen-reduced chamber 100 via the ducts 101, 103 to reduce the oxygen in the oxygen-reduced chamber 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
