PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet production apparatus which reduces the occurrence of failures in transporting a web.SOLUTION: The sheet production apparatus comprises an accumulation section which can accumulate material including fiber, a detection section which can detect information about characteristics of an accumulation accumulated by the accumulation section, and a heat and pressure application section which applies heat and pressure to the accumulation to form a sheet. In the case where the information about characteristics of an accumulation is within a predetermined range, the accumulation is transported to the heat and pressure application section while in the case where the information about characteristics of an accumulation is out of the predetermined range, the accumulation is not transported to the heat and pressure application section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
