The display device includes: a display unit having a display functional layer; a cover member having a front surface and a back surface positioned on an opposite side of the front surface and covering the display unit; and a polarizing plate having a front surface so as to oppose the back surface of the cover member through a space spreading along the back surface of the cover member. Also, a reflection suppressing layer reducing reflected light which is visually recognized on the display surface side is formed on either one of the back surface of the cover member and the front surface of the polarizing plate. |
