Provided is a synthetic resin retainer that is not prone to damage due to lagging or advancing of balls during rotation of a bearing. In this synthetic resin retainer, multiple pockets (11) accommodating balls (3) are formed in the opposing surfaces (10) of two synthetic resin annular bodies (9), said pockets being formed in the circumferential direction with intervals therebetween. Each annular body (9) comprises arc-shaped pocket wall sections (12) curving in a concave shape in the axial direction and forming the inner surface of the pockets (11), and flat connecting plate sections (13) connecting the adjacent pocket wall sections (12). The axial thickness (A) of the connecting plate sections (13) is 30% of less of the diameter of the balls (3), and the thickness (B) of the pocket wall sections (12) at the deepest position (11a) in the pockets (11) is 10% or less of the diameter of the balls (3). |
