[Problem] To provide: an information processing system in which, in a telepresence system, the user privacy level can be set in accordance with a counterpart; a storage medium; and a control method. [Solution] An information processing system provided with: a setting unit for automatically setting the privacy level in accordance with the user of a communication-destination device; a communication unit for transmitting a video image of the user of a communication-origin device to the communication-destination device; and a control unit for performing a control so as to mask the video image of the user of the communication-origin device in accordance with the automatically set privacy level.
