The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner which can be conveniently moved. According to an aspect of the present invention, the vacuum cleaner comprises: a cleaner main body having an energy consumption unit which receives power to operate; a suction unit which is connected to the cleaner main body, and sucks air and dust; and a battery assembly to supply power to the energy consumption unit. The battery assembly comprises a plurality of battery cells and a battery cover to support the battery cells. The battery cover comprises a plurality of partition walls forming a plurality of cell chambers to individually accommodate the plurality of battery cells.
