A container ship and an arrangement method thereof are disclosed. According to the present invention, a container ship wherein an engine supplied with LNG as fuel is provided comprises: a foremast provided in a stem portion of the ship; an LNG storage tank wherein LNG supplied to the engine is stored; and a vent line discharging gas from the LNG storage tank to the outside of the ship. Moreover, the vent line extends from the LNG storage tank for one end portion thereof to be integrally provided in the foremast.
