The present invention relates to a press for forming an O-ring and, more specifically, relates to a press for forming the O-ring enabling a usage of a rectangular mold with a width wider than the press in the press forming the O-ring usually used for a semiconductor equipment. In addition, the press for forming the O-ring in accordance with the present invention comprises: a foldable mold for forming the O-ring capable of being opened and closed by rotating an upper mold around a rotary shaft on a rear upper edge of a lower mold; a pressing unit pressing the mold while heating; a mold transferring unit taking out the mold by moving the mold to a predetermined distance from a lower part of the press; a movement limiting unit protruding from a top of the mold transferring unit and limiting the movable distance of the mold in accordance with a size of the mold; and a seating means fixating an other side of the mold to a front surface of the press in order to prevent accidents caused by a rotation of the upper mold when opening the mold. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the press for forming the O-ring capable of preventing accidents by fixating the upper mold after opening the upper mold to prevent the opening of the upper mold. |
