摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned carrier for a container which can travel by traverse motion by automatic driving.SOLUTION: An unmanned carrier 10 for a container comprises: plural wheels disposed on a vehicle body 11 having a rear deck 12; an electric motor 18 for traveling disposed for every wheel; and stoppers 26 for regulating positional deviation of the container in a longitudinal direction. The stoppers 26 are configured so that, stopper positions of stoppers can be changed according to containers having different standards. The unmanned carrier further comprises steering mechanisms 19 which can be independently steered for every wheel, and a steering control unit for controlling the steering mechanisms 19. A steering angle which the respective wheels can steer is set to 90° to left and right directions respectively, to 0° of a steering angle of the wheels during straight forward traveling, and by control of the steering mechanisms 19 of the steering control unit, the all wheels can be steered to the steering angle of 90° in the same direction, for allowing traverse traveling from straight forward traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
