PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate image synthesis.SOLUTION: In a synthesis memory 32a (32b) which is a storage unit, there are provided a plurality of image data storage regions MA1 and MA2 for storing image data on a plurality of images used for synthesis so as to be adjacent to a data reading direction of the image data storage regions. An image writing unit 31 writes the image data on the plurality of images in such a manner as to be distributed to the image data storage regions MA1 and MA2 for each image while preventing the plurality of images to overlap each other. An information storage region for storing synthesis instruction information is provided adjacently to the data reading direction with respect to the image data storage region MA2 and a synthesis control unit 33 is used to write the synthesis instruction information showing a mixture ratio of the plurality of images. Only by reading the image data or the synthesis instruction information continuously out of the adjacent storage regions MA1, MA2 and MA3, the image data or the synthesis instruction information used for image synthesis can be obtained, thereby facilitating image synthesis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
