PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimode optical fiber that can reduce a flexure loss.SOLUTION: A multimode optical fiber has: a core 1 in which a refractive index consecutively decreases toward a peripheral part from a center; and a clad layer 3 that surrounds the core 1.
