PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device that curbs reduction in position accuracy among optical components to be aligned using a pin and a hole into which the pin is inserted.SOLUTION: An optical device 1 includes: a ferrule 10 that has a pair of guide pins 12; and a substrate 20 that opposes the ferrule 10, and has a pair of pinholes 22 each non-similar to the pair of guide pins 12 in a plane view. The pair of guide pins 12 is inserted into the pair of pinholes 22, respectively, and is abutted against a lateral wall on a direction P side of pinholes 22. The pair of guide pins 12 is configured to be biased on the direction P side of the pair of pinholes 22, and the guide pin and the pinhole are used to thereby curb reduction in position accuracy between the ferrule 10 and the substrate 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
