PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery superior in oxidation resistant and reduction resistance.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided according to the present invention, which comprises the steps of: (1)preparing a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material and an oxalate complex compound; (2)using the negative electrode, a positive electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte including a fluorine-containing nonaqueous solvent to constitute an assembly; and (3)initially charging the assembly, thereby forming a coat originating from the oxalate complex compound on a surface of the negative electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
