PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain constant productivity of a sheet even when transport of a sheet is delayed.SOLUTION: A sheet transport device 130 comprises: a pick-up roller 103; a sensor S1 for, after determining a first transport timing for forming an image on a first face of the sheet supplied by the pick-up roller 103, determining a second transport timing for forming an image on a second face of the sheet with the image formed on the first face; and a CPU 101 for, when forming the images on both of the first and second faces, determining a supply timing that the pick-up roller 103 supplies the sheet on the basis of the first transport timing. The CPU 101 determines the supply timing of the pick-up roller 103 for supplying a subsequent sheet on the basis of the first transport timing of a preceding sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
