PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate performing an assemble work at production and a maintenance work to be performed later for a continuously cutting-off machine for leaves/roots of onions.SOLUTION: A continuously cutting-off machine for leaves/roots of onions, for sequentially and continuously cutting off leaves and roots is such that: an upper leaf cutting-off unit 2 is integrally assembled to a front side case 1A to make a leaf cutting-off block body 2A, and on the other hand, a root cutting-off unit 3 is integrally assembled to a rear side case 1B to make a root cutting-off block body 3A; one side edge of the rear end of the front side case 1A and one side edge of the front end of the rear side case 1B are connected by a hinge part 9; and the rear face of the leaf cutting-off block body 2A and the front face of the root cutting-off block body 3A are made pivotally openable/closable between a connection state of mutually connecting and an opening state of mutually opening to a prescribed angle so as to secure a space for a work between both block bodies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
