PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably extract an ocular-fundus blood vessel area in an ocular fundus image where a blood vessel with strong blood-column reflection is present.SOLUTION: An ocular fundus image analysis apparatus includes: binarized blood vessel extraction means for generating an image including a binarized blood vessel area information obtained by binarization processing of the ocular fundus image used as an input image; blood vessel thinning means for acquiring thinned blood vessel area information by performing thinning processing on the binarized blood vessel area; and blood vessel area extraction means for extracting a blood vessel area obtained by reducing the blood column reflection area in the blood vessel area of the ocular fundus image on the basis of the thinned blood vessel area information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
