PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a (poly)propylene glycol diether that can efficiently produce a (poly)propylene glycol diether with excellent safety and a reduced environmental load.SOLUTION: The method for producing a (poly)propylene glycol diether comprises continuously or intermittently adding, to a system into which a basic group and an alkyl or alkenyl halide has been fed, a (poly)propylene glycol monoalkyl or alkenyl ether and reacting them to produce a (poly)propylene glycol dialkyl ether, a (poly)propylene glycol dialkenyl ether, or a (poly)propylene glycol alkyl alkenyl ether.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
