PURPOSE:To restrain the peak of the output waveform of a boosting transformer and reduce the dullness of the edge of the waveform by increasing the primary and secondary leakage inductances of the boosting transformer and decreasing the distributed capacitance on the secondary side. CONSTITUTION:In order to increase leakage flux, a primary bobbin 22 and a secondary bobbin 23 are attached to separated positions while a leakage bath, receiving predetermined sheets of thin pieces of a laminated core, is provided between the first and second bobbins. In order to reduce the distributing capacity of a secondary winding, the secondary bobbin 23 is formed so as to be a section bobbin having about 11 layers while the primary and secondary bobbins 22, 23 are wound by the number of turns in accordance with a predetermined boosting ratio. A rectangular wave is inputted into the primary winding of the transformer by a switching transistor or the like whereby a boosted high-voltage AC may be obtained at the secondary side of the transformer. According to this method, the peak of the output waveform of the boosting transformer may be restrained and the dullness of edge may be reduced. |
