A luminescent particle analysis method provided with a step for using a confocal microscope having an observation region volume equal to or greater than the volume of a sphere with a radius of 30 μm to measure the intensity of light emitted from the observation region while periodically moving the observation region within a sample including luminescent particles, a step for calculating an index value indicating the autocorrelation of the light intensity obtained in the measurement step while shifting the measurement time, and a step for extracting a value indicating the density of the luminescent particles on the basis of the calculated index value. |
