PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reproducibility of a waveform of a driving signal at the time of driving a liquid discharge head having a plurality of nozzles for discharging liquid and a plurality of actuators provided corresponding to the plurality of nozzles.SOLUTION: A driving circuit 80 for driving a liquid discharge head 60 comprises: a modulating circuit 82 that performs pulse modulation of a driving waveform signal as a reference for a driving signal COM for driving an actuator 67 by a pulse density modulating method to make a modulated signal; a digital power amplification circuit 83 that performs power amplification of the modulated signal to make a power amplification modulated signal; and a smooth filter 87 that smooths the power amplification modulated signal to make the driving signal.
