PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment agent giving not a resin coating having problems such as deterioration of lubricity due to peeling-off, turn-up, and the like during movement inside a tube but a chemically fixed lubricating surface, and to provide a medical instrument, such as a catheter, at least partially surface-treated with a surface treatment agent.SOLUTION: A surface treatment agent for a medical instrument comprises a copolymer of a hydrophilic functional group-containing monomer and an epoxy group-containing monomer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
