PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining unburned combustibles and an apparatus for determining the unburned combustibles that are capable of analyzing the unburned combustibles in emitted ash to determine coal causing increase in the unburned combustibles.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of determining unburned combustibles in coal in boiler equipment in which a plurality of kinds of coal with different combustibility is mixed and burned. In the method, a content ratio of a carbon isotopeC is measured from carbon in the unburned combustibles in ash emitted from the boiler equipment, and then the most common coal in the unburned combustibles is identified on the basis of the content ratio of the carbon isotopeC in the carbon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
