The present invention relates to a digital sight for a hand carried-type artillery projectile and a control method therefor. According to the present invention, equipment for measuring a shooting direction of a hand carried-type artillery projectile such as a mortar can be replaced with a digital sight for a hand carried-type artillery projectile having a small estimation error, while using one low priced middle-and-low grade gyro, so as to enable an accurate and rapid strike of the artillery projectile and improve operability. In addition, the present invention can improve durability against an environment by minimizing electronic equipment according to the use of the manual rotation device and allow the digital sight for a hand carried-type artillery projectile to be rapidly installed or uninstalled, so as to enable preservation of a key component in an extreme environment such as a high impact due to artillery firing.
