Provided are a method and system for automatically or manually capturing images and directly saving a captured video image to a mobile communication terminal held by a user when the user holding the mobile communication terminal has entered an image-capturing-visual-range region of an externally-arranged image-capturing device. The user-held mobile communication terminal receives short-range wireless signals from a short-range wireless signal transmission station arranged in the image-capturing-visual-range region, thereby determining that the user is in the image-capturing visual range of the externally-arranged image-capturing device, and the user-held mobile communication terminal automatically or manually transmits an image-capture request to the externally-arranged image-capturing device. The externally-arranged image-capturing device responds to the image-capturing request from the user-held mobile communication terminal, captures images, and transmits a video image to a video-image server for forwarding captured video images. After the image-capturing request is sent, the user-held mobile communication terminal issues a request to the video-image server to download the captured video image, downloads the video image over a network, and automatically saves the video image on the user-held mobile communication terminal. |
